Officials with Southern California Edison are working to restore power to just over 2,400 residents Sunday afternoon in Stevenson Ranch, according to officials.
Reports were received around 12:20 p.m. of a power outage in the Stevenson Ranch area near Hemingway Avenue, according to officials.
The power outage was initially said to affect over 2,400 Southern California Edison customers, but was later revaluated to only affect 767 customers, according to SCE officials.
The cause of the outage is still under investigation as of 12:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Power is expected to be restored to most customers by 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, according to the SCE website.
