Valencia Power Outage Causes Nearly 3,800 Residents To Lose Power

Nearly 3,800 Southern California Edison customers in Valencia have reportedly lost power Thursday evening, officials said.

Reports were received around 7:51 p.m. of a power outage in the Valencia area near Rio Norte Junior High School, according to officials.

The power outage is said to affect 3,795 Southern California Edison customers, according to SCE officials.

The outage is described as a repair outage, “an outage caused by unexpected circumstances, such as traffic accidents or severe weather.”

Power is expected to be returned to most customers by 2:00 a.m. Friday, according to officials.
