When firefighters arrived on scene, the fire, dubbed the Princess Fire, had been reported as a half-acre brush fire with light to medium fuels traveling uphill, according to Ornelas.
“We are currently handling the fire with a first alarm-response,” Ornelas said.
As of 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, the fire had spread to a full acre, according to Ornelas.
