A fully-involved big rig fire on the I-5 Freeway spread to brush in Gorman north of Santa Clarita on Saturday morning.
Around 11 a.m. Saturday, emergency responders received reports of a big rig fire on the northbound 5 Freeway that soon spread to nearby brush, according to Supervisor Miguel Ornelas with the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD).
“It’s a 30 (foot) by 30 (foot spot),” Ornelas said.
The fire has since been named the Park Incident, according to LACoFD officials.
Traffic may be affected in the area, expect delays.
