An Acton brush fire has broken out Monday near the 14 Freeway, officials said.
The brush fire was reported at about 2:40 p.m. Monday near the southbound 14 Freeway north of Escondido Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“Units (are) responding to a half-acre brush fire running parallel to the 14 Freeway,” said L.A. County Fire on Twitter.
10 mile an hour winds are coming from the East, according to Fire officials.
Southbound traffic of the 14 Freeway is impacted in the area of Escondido Canyon Road as of 3 p.m. Monday, according to officials with the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
