The Cambria Fire in Placerita Canyon broke out near Sand Canyon Road Monday morning, prompting a response from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
UPDATE (10:55 a.m.): A more accurate mapping of the burn area puts the Cambria Fire at approximately 2.6 acres, according to Los Angeles County Fire officials.

UPDATE (9:40 a.m.) – Forward progress has been stopped on the Cambria Fire, which is now reportedly 5 acres in size with 40 percent containment, according to officials from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

UPDATE (9:30 a.m.): The Cambria Fire has since grown to 3-5 acres, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Original Post: Just before 9 p.m. Monday, officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department received reports of a brush fire near the 16400 block of Cambria Estates Lane in Placerita Canyon.
That location later was updated to the 25900 block of Pacy Street, according to Leslie Lua with the department.
“We got on scene at 9:13 a.m.,” Lua said. “There are structures threatened.”
The blaze had grown to 2.5 acres in size as of 9:25 a.m. Monday, with flames running uphill in medium fuel, according to officials on scene.
No injuries have been reported, and no structures had been damaged as of 9:25 a.m. Monday.

When is the sheriff or fire department going to tell us what is going on? What started it? Or better yet WHO?
And when are they going to hold people responsible for starting these?
