Canyon Country Brush Fire Breaks Out Near Golden Triangle, Forward Progress Stopped

A brush fire has broken out in Canyon Country Saturday afternoon, officials said.

UPDATE: Forward progress on the brush fire in Canyon Country has stopped at about a quarter acre, according to Fire officials.

The Canyon Country fire, dubbed the Isabella Fire, was first reported at about 4:50 p.m. Saturday near Golden Triangle Road near Ruther Avenue, according to Supervisor Flores with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“It is about a quarter acre,” Flores said.

No structures are threatened as a result of the fire, according to Flores.
