Garbage Truck Catches Fire In Newhall

A garbage truck caught fire in Newhall on Friday afternoon, prompting a response from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Just after 3:50 p.m. Friday, officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department received reports of a vehicle fire on Atwood Boulevard near Lyons Avenue in Newhall.

No injuries were reported in connection with the fire in Newhall, according to an officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The exact cause of the blaze was unknown as of Friday afternoon.
