A brush fire near the 14 Freeway has been sparked by a vehicle fire in Canyon Country, officials said.
UPDATE: The Golden Fire in Canyon Country is 100 percent contained, as of 1:45 p.m. Friday, according to Los Angeles County Fire officials.

The fire, dubbed the Golden Fire, was reported around 1:15 p.m., near the southbound 14 Freeway at Golden Valley Road, according to Inspector Sky Carnell with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The call was initially reported as a vehicle fire, which spread to the surrounding brush, officials said.
When units arrived on scene they reported the vehicle fire has spread to the hillside, said Carnell.
