A Newhall electrical fire prompted a response from firefighters Monday. 

Around 12:30 p.m. Monday, first responders received reports of an electrical fire at the 99 Cents Store on the 24000 block of Lyons Avenue in Newhall, said Geovanni Sanchez, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

“Light smoke was showing from an electrical fire,” Sanchez said. 

The electrical fire was in a light fixture in the restroom, according to officials. 

No injuries were reported, according to fire officials.
