Two lanes of the northbound 5 Freeway near Highway 138 have been closed after a big rig car hauler caught fire north of Santa Clarita.
At around 8 p.m. Monday, first responders received reports of a big rig car hauler fire on the 5 Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol logs.
Six vehicles on the car hauler trailer also reportedly caught fire, according to officials on scene.
According to CHP logs, all lanes of the freeway were briefly blocked in the area.
A SigAlert has been issued for the right two lanes of the freeway, which currently remain closed.
