A brush fire in Saugus was extinguished within 30 minutes early Saturday morning.
Around 12:40 a.m. Saturday, a brush fire was reported on Gravett Place in Saugus, southeast of Saugus Speedway.
“The call came out at the corner of Soledad and Bouquet,” said Supervisor Pittman, with the L.A. County Fire Department.
Copter 19 from the Fire Air Operations made several drops on the spot early Saturday.
Forward progress on the blaze was stopped at two acres, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
No injuries were reported and no structures were threatened in relation to this incident, according to Pittman.
