The Serrano Fire broke out near Pyramid Lake Saturday afternoon, prompting a response from multiple fire agencies.
Just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday, firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department received multiple reports of a brush fire near the northbound I-5 Freeway at Vista Del Lago.
“This is in the forest on a ridge top,” said Supervisor Peters with the department. “It’s about two acres.”

When they first arrived on scene, firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department reportedly found the blaze on a ridge to the east of Pyramid Lake, inside the Angeles National Forest.
Due to its location, the Angeles National Forest Service also responded, dubbing the blaze the Serrano Fire.
No injuries had been reported, and no structures were reportedly threatened as of 4 p.m.
