The Soledad Fire has broken out near Saugus Speedway Friday afternoon, officials said.

UPDATE: 4:20 p.m. — Forward progress has been stopped on the Soledad Fire at about two acres, according to Fire officials.
Units are expected to remain on scene for the “mop up” of remaining hot spots.
The brush fire, dubbed the Soledad Fire, was first reported at about 3:55 p.m. Friday near Soledad Canyon Road and Commuter Way, according to Leslie Lua with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The Santa Clarita fire has reached about one acre, running uphill in the medium brush, according to Lua.
About 100 fire firefighters are responding to the Soledad Fire, which has the potential to reach about 15 acres, according to the LACoFD.
Firefighters have requested Metrolink to shut down the tracks near the Santa Clarita Station, according to Fire officials.
No injuries have been reported as of Friday afternoon.
