All lanes of the 14 Freeway were temporarily blocked by a big rig crash over the center divider Monday morning, officials said.
Around 7:50 a.m. Monday, emergency responders received reports of a big rig crash into the center divider of the northbound 14 Freeway near Soledad Canyon Road, according to Chris Thomas, a spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“They have about 50 gallons of diesel fuel on the freeway, and rocks on the freeway,” said Thomas.
The driver of the big rig was transported to the hospital, according to California Highway Patrol Incident Logs.
A SigAlert has been issued for all lanes of the northbound and southbound 14 freeway, which were temporarily closed from Soledad Canyon Road to Agua Dulce Canyon Road for an unknown duration to allow for cleanup and response to the incident.
