Canyon Country Crash Hospitalizes One, Downs Light Pole

A crash in Canyon Country has sent one to the hospital and downed a light pole late Saturday morning, officials said.

Reports were received of a traffic collision involving a light standard on Via Princessa near Golden Valley Road at 11:53 a.m., according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

One person involved in the crash has been transported to a nearby hospital, according to officials on scene.

“We got a call of a solo-vehicle crash into a pole,” said Supervisor Flores, with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “There is a light standard down.”

The condition of the patient is unknown as of Saturday afternoon.

An estimated time for repairs on the light pole was unknown as of Saturday afternoon
