A child was transported to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Santa Clarita Wednesday night.
At around 9 p.m. Wednesday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision where a child was hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Lost Canyon Road and Canyon Park Boulevard in Santa Clarita, according to Supervisor Michael Pittman with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“We got a call right around 9 p.m. to that intersection,” said Pittman. “The report was that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.”
The child was transported to a hospital after the collision, according to witnesses on scene.
No other major injuries were reported.
