Around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on the 27000 block of Brooken Avenue, said Leslie Lua, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“We responded to reports of a vehicle on the edge of a hill over an approximately 100-foot drop,” said Lua.
The caller stated they were unable to get out of the vehicle due to fear of shifting the weight causing the vehicle to move, according to Lua.
First responders utilized the fire engine and a civilian’s pick-up truck to remove the victim’s vehicle from over the edge, according to officials on scene.
There were no reported injuries, according to Lua.

I’ll tell ya, once again the LAFD comes and saves the day! They’re SO awesome! Their work shirts should have a big S on the chest because they all ARE Supermen and Women!
Arn. Same with law enforcement.
Hey poor reporting on your job, it was not a traffic collision nor was it a 100 ft. Cliff. Get your facts right before you half hazardly report.
*Haphazard. Sounds like you’ve got some firsthand info on that situation Alex, maybe you should be more careful on your next canyon run so it doesn’t happen again 🙂
Hey you prick it was my house.
Wait! What color or race were the people who were saved and what color or race were the saviors? We want to know!! Why are you withholding the facts?!! These people want to know!!
The vehicle was hardly “dangling” as stated. Dangle definition- hang or swing loosely. This reminds me of a story a month ago of a vehicle being ‘suspended’ when it was clearly resting nose first on the ground while being held up by a cable.
