A hit-and-run Bouquet Canyon Road crash Thursday morning has knocked down a power pole blocking all northbound lanes of traffic, officials said.
Around 2:30 a.m. Thursday first responders received reports of a traffic collision involving a power pole on Bouquet Canyon Road near Central Park in Saugus, said Lt. Eric Lasko, with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The traffic collision is being investigated as a possible hit-and-run, however, deputies have located the person of interest, said Detective Cramer, with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“A pole came down and is blocking all northbound lanes,” Lasko said.
The northbound lanes of Bouquet Canyon Road are closed for an unknown duration, Lasko said.
At least one person was transported to the hospital, said Chris Thomas, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

We’ve lived out in Saugus for almost 50 years. The loudest thing in the area was Saugus speedway on a Saturday. Now Bouquet is the new race track 24/7. So glad our Sheriffs slapped this Ferrari driver with a citation . Really ???? A citation is all he got. Way to go on cracking down on speeders.
