A Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) motorcycle officer suffered minor injuries as a result of a 14 Freeway Crash in Acton Friday morning, officials said.

Around 10:40 a.m., first responders received reports of a traffic collision on the southbound 14 Freeway near Escondido Canyon Road, said Austin Bennett, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“It was a report of a LAPD motor officer-involved,” Bennett said.

A helicopter was requested to the scene but was canceled shortly after they were dispatched, according to officials.

The LAPD officer suffered from minor injuries, however, it is unclear if the officer was sent to the hospital, according to Fire officials.
