A motorcyclist was hospitalized Monday morning after colliding over the center divider in a 14 Freeway crash, officials said.
The incident was reported at about 10:24 a.m. Monday on the northbound 14 Freeway near Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country, according to Chris Thomas with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“It was a motorcycle down in the southbound lanes,” Thomas said.
Initial reports indicate the motorcyclist crashed into the center divider, landing on the opposite side of the freeway, according to California Highway Patrol logs.
Firefighters located the motorcyclist on the southbound side of the 14 Freeway in the carpool lane, according to Fire officials.
The condition of the victim is unknown as of Monday morning.
