A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital Tuesday after colliding with a vehicle in a Newhall crash, officials said.
Around 2 p.m. Tuesday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on the Newhall Avenue off-ramp of the 14 Freeway, said Austin Bennett, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“It was a vehicle versus motorcycle,” Bennett said.
One patient was sent to a local hospital, according to Bennett.
As a result of the crash, the northbound off-ramp of the 14 Freeway at Newhall Avenue was closed, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The condition of the patient is unknown as of Tuesday afternoon, according to Fire officials.

Looks like a brand new bike (Dealer temporary registration plate). I hope the guy hadn’t just picked it up. Also hope he makes a full recovery and gets to enjoy his Harley. I drive past this at about 2:20pm, and the guy looked in good hand with all the first responders. Fingers crossed.
