A multi-vehicle 14 Freeway crash temporarily snarled traffic in northbound lanes Wednesday afternoon.
UPDATE: (3:32p.m.) A SigAlert has been issued for the carpool and three left lanes of the northbound 14 Freeway Wednesday afternoon due to a multivehicle crash.
Original Story: Just before 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, emergency responders received reports of an expanded traffic collision on the northbound 14 Freeway just south of Golden Valley Road, said Franklin Lopez with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“Call came in as a tc with persons trapped,” said Lopez. “We found three vehicles, one overturned, no persons were trapped.”
The HOV, No. 1, 2 and 3 lanes were all blocked temporarily to allow emergency responders to handle the incident, impacting traffic, according to California Highway Patrol incident logs.
Any injuries are unknown at this time.
