One Transported After 14 Freeway Crash, Traffic Impacted

One person was transported to a hospital after reporting back pain following a collision on the southbound 14 Freeway.

Just after 9:10 p.m. Tuesday, officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department received reports of traffic collision on the southbound 14 Freeway, roughly a quarter-mile north of Placerita Canyon Road.

While no one was reportedly trapped in any of the vehicles involved, one person was transported to a nearby hospital after complaints of back pain, according to officials on scene.

Officials on scene also confirmed that no foul play or alcohol was suspected at this time.

Traffic was temporarily stopped on the southbound 14 Freeway as officials worked to clear the debris from the road.

Officials later opened the No. 1 and 2 lanes, but temporarily blocked off the No. 3 and 4 lanes as they investigated the crash and worked to clear the incident, according to traffic logs from the California Highway Patrol.

Units were still on scene as of 9:50 p.m.
