Naked Woman Put On Mental Evaluation Hold After Walking Away From Crash In Gorman

A naked woman who was reported missing out of Orange County was put on a mental evaluation hold after she was seen walking away from a multi-car crash in Gorman Saturday morning.

Around 10:47 a.m. Saturday, dispatchers advised the CHP Newhall area officers of a multi-vehicle traffic collision with a naked woman seen walking away from the collision scene on the northbound 5 Freeway, south of Smokey Bear Road, said Officer Josh Greengard, a spokesperson for the Newhall Area Office.

“When officers arrived they observed the female walking within the #3 lane of northbound I-5 Freeway,” Greengard said.  “Upon contact, the officers covered her and detained the female.”

Through investigation, it was determined she needed to be taken to the local hospital for a mental evaluation hold, Greengard said.

“The female was later determined to be a missing person out of Orange County,” Greengard said.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
