Two people were sent to the hospital Friday morning, including a child who was airlifted, after an Acton all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash, officials said.
Around 8:50 a.m. Friday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on Boiling Point Mountain Way and Shannon Valley Road in Acton, said Marvin Lim, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“It was reported as a quad accident,” Lim said.
When firefighter personnel arrived on scene, they requested a helicopter to respond to assist in the transport of a pediatric patient, according to Fire officials.
“One (adult) patient was also transported to the hospital by ground,” Lim said.
The condition of the two individuals was unknown as of Friday morning, according to Fire officials.
