One Ejected, Multiple Hospitalized After 14 Freeway Crash In Canyon Country

One person was ejected from a vehicle and multiple people were injured after a 14 Freeway crash in Canyon Country Tuesday evening, officials said. 

UPDATE: The driver who caused the crash fled the scene on foot, but was located and arrested on felony DUI charges, according to CHP officials.

The crash was reported at about 9:35 p.m. Tuesday on the northbound 14 Freeway near Soledad Canyon Road, according to Capt. Ron Haralson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“One person was ejected,” Haralson said, adding there were two vehicles involved in the collision. 

After being involved in the crash, a driver of one of the vehicles was able to travel off the freeway to the nearby Facey Medical Center, according to officials.

Three victims were transported to a local hospital in unknown condition, according to Haralson. 

Traffic is impacted as of 10:15 p.m. on both directions of the 14 Freeway near Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) logs.
