One patient was sent to the hospital Monday following a Santa Clarita crash that impacted traffic.
Around 2:20 p.m. Monday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on Railroad Avenue and Drayton Street in Santa Clarita, said Sean Ferguson, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The call came in with reports of two people trapped in their vehicle, according to Ferguson.
When crews arrived, they confirmed no persons were trapped.
“”One person was transported to the hospital by paramedics,” Ferguson said.
Southbound traffic on Railroad Avenue was reduced to one lane while crews worked to clear the wreckage, according to officials on scene.
