One person was trapped in their vehicle following a Towsley Canyon crash in Newhall Friday afternoon.

UPDATE 4:20 p.m.: One person was transported to a nearby hospital, according to Supervisor Flores with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Just after 3:45 p.m., reports were received of a traffic collision with one person trapped on The Old Road near Towsley Canyon Road, according to Supervisor Flores with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“We are currently on scene of a crash with one person trapped,” Supervisor Flores said at 4 p.m. “We are working to extricate them now.”
California Highway Patrol officers arrived on scene to direct traffic around the collision, as the southbound side of The Old Road was closed.
The extent of the injuries in relation to the crash were not made public Friday afternoon.
