One person was trapped in their vehicle Friday following a rollover 14 Freeway crash in Newhall, officials said.

UPDATE (12:40 p.m.): The person extricated from the overturned vehicle is uninjured, according to Los Angeles County Fire officials.
Original Story: Around 12:05 p.m. Friday first responders received reports of a traffic collision on the southbound 14 Freeway south of Newhall Avenue, said Marvin Lim, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“There was one van on its side with one person trapped,” Lim said.
As of 12:16 p.m., one person was extricated from the vehicle, according to Lim.
The condition of the patient is unknown as of Friday afternoon, according to Fire officials.
