One person was transported to the hospital Wednesday after a multi-vehicle Valencia crash, officials said.

At 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, emergency responders received reports of a traffic collision involving four vehicles on Valencia Boulevard near Goldcrest Drive.

After arriving on scene, medical personnel transported one patient to the hospital, according to Franklin Lopez, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“It came in as a four-car traffic collision, said Lopez. “One person was transported.”

All eastbound lanes of Valencia Boulevard were temporarily closed at Rockwell Canyon Road for the duration of the incident, according to officials on scene.
