One person was transported to the hospital after a traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
Reports of a traffic collision on Parker Road in Castaic were received at 7:44 p.m. Monday, according to Martin Rangel with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“CHP gave us a call at 7:44 p.m., reporting a vehicle versus pedestrian,” Rangel said. “We arrived on scene at 7:48 and one patient was transported.”
It is unknown at this time if the patient transported to the hospital was the pedestrian or the motorist.
While Los Angeles County Fire Department officials reported the collision involving a pedestrian, California Highway Patrol officials say it may have involved a bicyclist.
