An overturned big rig resulted in one person injured and lanes blocked on the 5 Freeway in Valencia on Tuesday, officials said.

Around 2 p.m. Tuesday, first responders received reports of an overturned big rig with people possibly trapped on the northbound 5 Freeway near Highway 126, said Austin Bennett, a spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“There was no one trapped,” Bennett said.
The driver was able to get out of the truck on their own, according to officials.
“(The) patient was transported to the hospital with minor injuries,” Bennett said.
As of 2:15 p.m., the No. 4 lane and the northbound on-ramp from the 126 are blocked until approximately 6 p.m. while crews work to upright the truck, according to California Highway Patrol officials.
