Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck By Vehicle In Santa Clarita Hit-And-Run Crash

A pedestrian was transported to the hospital Friday after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Santa Clarita.

Around 1:20 p.m. Friday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on the 19400 block of Stillmore Street in Canyon Country near Sierra Vista Junior High School, said Marvin Lim, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“It was a traffic collision pedestrian involved,” Lim said.

The patient was transported to the hospital in unknown condition, according to officials on scene.

The incident is being investigated as a hit-and-run crash, said Lt. Jonathan Hoyt, with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Despite the crash being near a school, initial reports were that the person hit was an adult, according to Hoyt.

  1. Nice gotta love the new ‘I am not responsible’ culture where a majority of incidents like this are now hit and run. Quite a society we are are creating.

  2. We’re not creating this degenerate society, the Liberals are. No morals, standards, decent behavior and they’ll clam victimhood because they weren’t Given a new electric car to see better through the windshield

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
