A pedestrian was transported to the hospital Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle in a Valencia crash.
Around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on McBean Parkway near Granary Square in Valencia, said Amanda Morales, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“It was a traffic collision involving a pedestrian,” Morales said.
As a result of the Valencia crash, one person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition, according to Fire officials.

When you’re at an intersection, turning right, looking left for a gap in traffic, always remember to LOOK THROUGH YOUR TURN before proceeding.
On the other hand, pedestrians are just as responsible for their own safety as the drivers. I’m seeing far to many people step out into traffic without even looking. Doesn’t matter what the light shows, ALWAYS LOOK BOTH WAYS before stepping off the curb.
