A Santa Clarita man was identified as the victim killed in a fatal Acton crash Monday morning, officials said.
Tanos Abdo Habr, 62, of Santa Clarita, was killed in the crash, said Sarah Ardalani, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.
Just before 8 a.m. Monday first responders received reports of a solo-vehicle traffic collision on the northbound 14 Freeway near Santiago Road, said Bernard Peters, a dispatch supervisor for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, at the time of the crash.
Upon arrival, firefighters found one victim in “critical condition,” Peters said.
At 8:43 a.m. Habr was pronounced deceased, according to Ardalani.
