14 Freeway traffic was blocked for an unknown duration Tuesday morning after a vehicle plunged off the overpass above Via Princessa in Santa Clarita.
UPDATE (11:20 a.m.): The southbound 14 Freeway has been reopened.
Around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, emergency responders received reports of a three-vehicle traffic collision on the southbound 14 Freeway overpass above Via Princessa Road in Canyon Country, according to Franklin Lopez, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The driver of a black vehicle allegedly “lost control an is now on the side of a hill,” according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Incident Logs.

During the incident, two other vehicles were found on the southbound 14 Freeway with airbags deployed, according to CHP officials.
The extent of any injuries sustained remain unknown to the public as of 11 a.m. Tuesday.
All southbound traffic has been stopped for an unknown duration as of 11:10 a.m.
