A crash involving three vehicles slowed traffic on Railroad Avenue in Newhall Sunday morning.
Just before 10 a.m., a crash was reported by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, according to Supervisor Sims with the Fire Dept.
“They reported the crash was three to four vehicles,” Sims said.
The vehicles involved were piled up in the center-most lane on Railroad Avenue south of Market Street. Units from both the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and the Los Angeles County Fire Department had the center lane blocked as the roadway was cleared Sunday morning.
Injuries as the result of the crash are unknown as of Sunday morning, but one ambulance was called to the scene, according to Supervisor Rangel with the L.A. County Fire Department.
