Two people were sent to the hospital Tuesday, with a 10-year-old being airlifted after an incident involving a dune buggy in Santa Clarita.
Around 3 p.m. Tuesday, first responders received reports of a dune buggy accident on the 23200 block of Marston Court in Saugus, said Franklin Lopez, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“It was involving a dune buggy,” Lopez said.
A 10-year-old girl was transported to Pacific Crest Park by a ground ambulance to an awaiting helicopter which airlifted the patient to the hospital, according to Fire officials.
“We cleared the area for the helicopter to airlift a 10-year-old girl with a broken arm,” said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
A second patient was transported by ground ambulance to the hospital.
No additional information involving the type of accident is available as of the publication of this article.
