Two passengers were rescued after a vehicle plunged nearly 200 feet down a Santa Clarita ravine Friday night.

Around 11 p.m. Friday, emergency responders received reports of a solo vehicle crash down the side of Sand Canyon Road, just a mile south of Placerita Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, according to Miguel Ornelas, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
