A vehicle has crashed about 50 feet off a bridge on The Old Road in Valencia Monday afternoon, officials said.

The Valencia crash was reported at about 2:10 p.m. Monday on The Old Road between Magic Mountain Parkway and Rye Canyon Road, according to Leslie Lua with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“It is a single vehicle possibly in a ravine,” Lua said.

Upon arrival, firefighters on scene from Station 126 reported one person was trapped inside the vehicle, down in the riverbed.

About 30 minutes later, firefighters freed the driver from the vehicle, and transported them to a local hospital, according to Fire officials.

Traffic on The Old Road is impacted in the area due at about 2:40 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The condition of the victim is unknown as of Monday afternoon.
