A 14 Freeway crash resulted in no injuries Friday after a vehicle plunged 50 feet off the roadway landing on its roof causing the driver to become trapped, officials said.
Around 8:30 a.m. first responders received reports of a traffic collision with persons possibly trapped on the northbound 14 Freeway near Red Rover Mine Road in Acton, said Franklin Lopez, a spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
When crews arrived on scene they located a vehicle about 50 feet down off the 14 Freeway on its roof, according to the California Highway Patrol Logs.
“One person was trapped,” Lopez said
The driver was extricated from the vehicle at 8:41 a.m. and did not sustain any major injuries, Lopez said.
“There were no persons transported,” Lopez said.
