Los Angeles County Waterworks District is scheduled to replace a water main in Val Verde next month, which may cause traffic delays.
Crews are slated to install a new 12-inch water main to improve system reliability and preserve health and safety for customers starting Monday, Aug. 9, according to Los Angeles County Public Works.
The crews are set to work within Del Valle Road, Hinstock Street and Lincoln Avenue during the hours of 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Parts of Del Valle Road and Hunstock Street are expected to be reduced to one lane in both directions as work is being done.
Portions of Lincoln Avenue between Hunstock Street and Central Avenue are scheduled to be closed to through traffic as work is done, with local access maintained.
More information on the project can be found here.
