Temperatures are set to slightly warm up over the weekend in the Santa Clarita Valley weather forecast before another chance of rain returns.
Showers are expected to linger into Friday morning before the clouds clear and temperatures rise, said John Dumas, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service (NWS).
“We will start warming, but not jumping into the 80s or anything like that,” Dumas said. “By Saturday things will be warming and drying up into the mid-70s, but below seasonal temperatures.”
By next week, the NWS is tracking another chance of rain, however, it is expected to be less significant than Thursday’s storm, Dumas said.
