As Santa Clarita moves past a warm week, the temperature is said to decrease in the upcoming week, according to officials.
The zone area forecast for Santa Clarita between Monday, August 3, and Sunday, August 9, predicts the week highs in the 80s, according to the National Weather Service weekly forecast.
Starting Monday night, Santa Clarita can expect lows in the mid 60s with southwest winds with speeds from 15 to 25 mph shifting to the northwest after midnight.
Tuesday is to be sunny with a high of 90 with southwest winds with gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Tuesday night is said to be clear with a low of 60 and similar winds.
Wednesday is forecast to be sunny as well, but with a high in the low 80s and southwest winds with speeds from 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon.
Wednesday night through Friday night are expected to be temperate, with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s and lows in the 50s.
Saturday and Sunday are said to warm back up with highs in the 90s and lows in the upper 50s, according to the National Weather Service weekly forecast.
