Temperatures are expected to be in the triple digits this weekend in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Between Saturday and Sunday, temperatures are expected to hit triple-digits during the early afternoon hours of the day, according to officials with the Los Angeles National Weather Service (NWS).
Saturday is expected to be mostly clear and sunny with a high of 102 degrees and lows in the upper 60s.
“Santa Clarita is not expecting unusual winds, typical southwest winds between six and 12 miles per hour with humidity expected to be between 17 and 20 percent,” said Joe Sirard, a meteorologist with NWS.
Sunday is expected to be mostly clear and sunny reaching up to 100 degrees with lows in the upper 60s.
Despite the warm and dry conditions, no fire watches or warnings are in place, according to officials.
“Still high fire danger, people need to be careful if creating sparks,” Sirard added.
