Stormy weather caused power outages for hundreds of Santa Clarita customers Saturday.
Stormy conditions in Santa Clarita caused three power outages in the Santa Clarita area Saturday, affecting nearly 400 customers.
The largest outage was in a Canyon Country neighborhood in the Solemint and Mint Canyon area. It began at around 2 a.m.
Repair crews are still on their way. Power is expected to mostly be restored by 6:30 this evening.
A second outage impacted seven customers near Canyon High School. The outage began at around 11 p.m. Friday.
A field investigator is still deciding what repairs need to be made, and authorities do not have a timeline for when power should be back on.
Off the 126 Highway in the Val Verde and Castaic area, an outage impacting three customers is ongoing.
The outage began just before 6 a.m. Saturday. The cause has been determined and a repair crew is on the way. Power is expected to be back for the most part by 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
