The Santa Clarita Valley is predicted to continue seeing rain and wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour on Monday, with warmer and drier weather expected later in the week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Monday is forecasted by the NWS to begin with rain, wind gusts, high humidity and temperature highs of around 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

By the evening, Monday’s weather forecast is temperatures in the low to mid-40s, partly cloudy and a 20 percent chance of more rain, according to the NWS.
As of 10:50 a.m. on Monday, the Santa Clarita Valley has seen an average rainfall of around 0.04 inches, the NWS reports.
Tuesday and Wednesday of this week are predicted to get sunnier again, with highs in the mid 60s on Tues. and then in the mid 70s on Wed., according to the NWS.
Both days are also forecasted to have 15 to 20 mile per hour winds, and evenings predicted to be around the mid 40s and 50s, the NWS reports.
By Thursday and Friday, the NWS forecasts sunny weather with highs of around 80 degrees, with lows around the mid 50s.
Clouds are expected to return by Saturday of this week, with high temperatures around the mid 70s and lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s, according to the NWS.
Sunday is expected to be partly cloudy again, with highs in the lower to mid 70s, according to the NWS.
