The project includes 22 total site areas and work is expected to continue through fall of this year.
Residents and drivers in project areas should anticipate traffic delays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Drivers are encouraged to commute slowly and cautiously as there will be street closures and workers in the area until road improvements are complete.
Street parking will not be allowed during scheduled maintenance work and temporary no parking signs will be posted in the work area.
“Maintaining quality roadways is a big priority for the City,” said Mayor Laurene Weste. “Every year our budget includes several million dollars for upkeep and repairs, which allows us to extend the life of our roads and keep them smooth and safe,” she added.
Flyers have been distributed in the affected project areas where work begins on Monday, and all resident in affected site areas will receive notification of work prior to construction.
The Bouquet Canyon Road portion of the Project is set to begin in August and will take place at night.
