Weekend Arrests Remain Consistent  In Santa Clarita

Over the weekend, local law enforcement made 37 arrests in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Between Friday, May 8 and Sunday, May 10, officers with the California Highway Patrol and deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station made 37 arrests — one more than last week’s 36.

Of the 37 arrests, 14 Arrests were made for driving under the influence, and three additional people were arrested for being drunk in public.

Some of the notable arrests made by law enforcement other than drugs and alcohol included attempted identity theft, domestic violence, vandalism, tampering with a vehicle and making criminal threats.

Fourteen of the arrests were felonies, with the other 23 being misdemeanors.

Of the 37 arrests, 13 of the suspects were from Santa Clarita.

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes.
